Birth registration in Vanuatu

I was intrigued today,  to read this blog from Unicef Pacific on a topic, which I hadn’t considered until now.

Birth registration and therefore birth certificates in Vanuatu and the impact they hold on the future of the owner.

I guess in New Zealand, it is a document that we take for granted, afterall it is mandatory to register the birth of a child, within two months of it’s arrival.

So I share with you the story as written by   Neha Thakkar of Unicef.
